Against a very challenging timescale, Cadbury needed to implement a wireless solution which provided total coverage for its UK manufacturing and warehousing operations. This would allow accurate tracking of stock and ingredients as they passed through various processes of manufacture through to despatch.

STS NETWORK ENABLES WIRELESS BAR-CODE SCANNING

From their base in Derbyshire, the Advanced Composites Group manufactures

woven and unidirectional glass, carbon, synthetic and natural fibre reinforced pre-impregnated composite materials for a wide variety of general and specialist industrial applications.

In order to keep track of products as they are produced, they worked with STS who installed a wireless network to enable them to maintain stock levels in real-time using bar-code scanning technology.
