Voice Readiness Assessments

If you are considering replacing or upgrading your phone system, one of the options you will almost certainly be looking at is running it over your IP data network, because this can reduce the capital and operational costs while also bringing in productivity gains. But is your data network ready for voice ? If it isn’t, this could be a significant cost that needs factoring in with overall phone system replacement project.
We can provide an onsite voice-readiness assessment, that will consider whether your data network is capable of supporting IP voice traffic. We’ll be looking at factors such as whether your data switches can provide power to the phones using Power over Ethernet (PoE), whether your network devices can prioritise voice traffic over data traffic, and whether any WAN links have sufficient capacity to support voice.
We can also run some network probes to measure end-to-end response times. And if you’re considering running voice over your wireless data network, we’ll use our wireless survey tools to identify whether your existing wireless network is capable of supporting voice as well.
At the end of the assessment, we’ll provide a report identifying any improvements that need to be made to your network to ensure successful implementation of your new IP voice system.
